Shuji Oishi is a research scientist in National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Previously, he was an assistant professor at Active Intelligent Systems Laboratory (AISL, Miura Laboratory) in Toyohashi University of Technology. He received Ph.D from Kyushu University in 2015 supervised by Ryo Kurazume. His research interests are 3D modeling / reconstruction with a laser scanner or an agile monocular camera, and autonomous systems such as mobility and service robots based on 3D perception.
