Genome editing is a technology that rewrites the DNA sequence of living cells. However, the intense modification could damage biological functions. We will develop "secure" genome editing technology.
We have developed direct protein delivery technology into mammalian cells. We are now applying this technology to plant cells with cell walls.
We aim to visualize changes in gene expression in cells. Based on nucleic acid chemistry, we have developed quantitative visualization techniques for microRNAs and fluorescence modified probes.
