Access for Visitors

My office locates at AIST Tsukuba East Campus. [Map] [More] [Google Map]

    • Train : Tsukuba Terminal, Tsukuba Express
      • AIST Shuttle bus (10 min / free) [bus stop].ย  Recommended.
      • Taxi (10 min / ca. 1500 yen)
      • Local bus also available (310 yen). Take buses for Awakawaoki Station, get off at this stop.
      • Suica payable. Credit card touch payment not available.
    • Coach bus
      • From Tokyo station (ca. 65-90min / 1260 yen) for Tsukuba University, get off at Namiki 1 chome. Recommended.
      • From Haneda Airport (ca. 60-90min / 2000 yen) for Tsukuba Center, get off at Namiki 1 chome. Very recommended if waiting time allows.
      • Bus between Narita Airport and Tsukuba does not have a nearby stop. If you take it, you get off at Tsukuba Center (TX Tsukuba station) then take the access above.
      • Suica payable. Credit card touch payment not available.
