Member Recruitment
We are conducting research with the aim of social implementation of glycans and lectins in drug discovery and regenerative medicine. We are looking for colleagues who will work with us in our research using state-of-the-art glycan and lectin-related technologies. Beginners to glycans and lectins are also welcome. We will carefully teach you how to conduct experiments from the very beginning. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested. We are also available for tours, so please contact Tateno at
What is our laboratory like?
We specialize in the development of glycan and lectin engineering technologies that are useful to society. We are conducting collaborative research with various researchers from medical schools and companies. We have an international environment with not only Japanese graduate students but also graduate students from overseas. I myself have an experience of studying abroad in the U.S. for four and a half years. I would like to accept many students from abroad. We have a journal club and research progress report meeting every Friday from 4:00 p.m. in English.
