About Me

I am a senior researcher at Data Platform Research Team, Artificial Intelligence Research Center (AIRC), National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).

I received Ph.D. in computer science from Tokyo Institute of Technology and M.Sc in computer science from Wuhan University. Before joining AIST, I was an assistant professor at National Institute of Informatics (NII) and a postdoc at Tokyo Institute of Technology.

My main research interests are in the fields of machine learning and data mining, especially Graph & Network Analytics, Web Recommendations, Anomaly Detection, and Geometric Deep Learning. I am specialized in developing automated data mining and machine learning algorithms to discover actionable patterns from graph data, with contributions to applications in social informatics, bioinformatics, and information security.
