About Me
I am a Chief Senior Researcher (with tenure) in the Data Platform Research Group at the Intelligent Platforms Research Institute, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), Japan.
I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Wuhan University, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Wuhan University of Technology. Before joining AIST, I was an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Informatics (NII) and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tokyo Institute of Technology.
My primary research interests lie in machine learning and data mining, with a focus on graph learning, network science, social computing, and web mining. I specialize in developing automated machine learning and data mining algorithms to uncover actionable patterns in interconnected systems, contributing to fields such as social informatics, library and information science, web informatics, service informatics, bioinformatics, and information security.
