About Placement
Our laboratory is a Collaborative research laboratory within the Graduate School of Environmental Studies at Tohoku University, affiliated with AIST Collaborative Course (Japanese). Students interested in joining should contact the graduate school office. For inquiries regarding research content and other aspects of the research environment, please contact me directly.
Supervision System
The basic system involves weekly seminars to check progress and discuss future research directions. Additionally, I am open to research consultations as needed. Depending on suitability and preference, students will actively participate in field observations. Researchers at Geothermal Energy Research Team, Renewable Energy Advanced Research Center, AIST will provide research support as needed. Based on progress, students will be encouraged to present research results at domestic and international conferences and to write papers. Additionally, in the intensive course 'Surface and subsurface measurements for enviromental science', I teach fundamental knowledge with a focus on seismic wave-based exploration methods.
