I am interested in modern nano and bionano tools and technologies based on multimodal analyses of a wide spectrum of molecules, materials and living systems for the advancement of health technology. The main research area I am focusing at is the use of bioconjugated fluorescent/fluorescent-magnetic nonomaterials and spectroscopy and microscopy, in particular, atomic force microscopy, fluorescence microscopy and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy, for the unraveling of subcellular processes and the structures and functioning of cell organelles and biomolecules. For example, currently I am investigating the mechanism underlying the activation of cell signaling molecules, and intracellular delivery of bioconjugated nanoparticles of bioimaging and therapeutic potentials. Also, I am developing novel nano/bionanomaterials, and optimizing their properties for advanced bioanalysis and nanobiotechnology.
