At the 4th International symposium, SIP-IMASM 2018, recent technological breakthroughs in the areas of structural materials for aircrafts and steels were for reported and discussed. Presentations by distinguished keynote and invited speakers were given on CFRP composites, heat resistant alloys, ceramic coating, and steels. The project team members reported the latest results on innovative measurement and analysis for these materials, and other papers on these topics were presented.
