How to Create Smart Mobility

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) promoted the Smart Mobility Challenge project from FY2019 to FY2025 to support ambitious initiatives through collaboration between local communities and businesses. As part of this initiative, How to Create Smart Mobility was developed as a practical guide that summarizes the process for planning and implementing smart mobility services. We hope this publication will serve as a useful reference for those working to introduce smart mobility solutions and address local transportation challenges.
