Tsubasa Tomoto is a research investigator at Human Informatics and Interaction Research Institutes, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), JAPAN. He received a B.A. and a M.S. in Athletic Training at West Virginia Wesleyan College, USA. He became a certified athletic trainer at USA in 2011. He received a Ph.D in Sports Medicine from the University of Tsukuba, JAPAN. He completed his postdoctoral training in cardiovascular physiology at Innovation School AIST, JAPAN, and cerebrovascular physiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the Institutes for Exercise and Environmental Medicine (IEEM), USA. His research focuses on the impact of aging and the influence of physical exercise on cardio- and cerebrovascular hemodynamics. Recently, he is investigating the type of effective physical exercise for brain health.
