Ibusuki Beach, Ibusuki-city, Kagoshima, Japan

This dark gray sand is poorly sorted (less than 1.5mm in diameter).  It consists of siliceous volcanic rocks, feldspar, quartz, pyroxene, pumice with small amount of iron sand.
