Venus Point, Tahiti, Polynésie française

This dark gray sand is medium or coarse sized and moderately sorted (0.3-1.0mm in diameter).  It consists of olivine, pyroxene, quartz, magnetite, volcanic rocks and so on.  At the picture below, a white paper was used as its background instead of black one.
