Colonia, Montevideo, Oriental Republic of Uruguay

This gray sand/gravel is very coarse and poorly sorted (0.3-3.0mm in diameter).  It consists of quartz, feldspar, granite, crystalline schist, brown siliceous rocks and so on.  The grains are moderately rounded.
