Point Pinos Beach, Pacific Grove, Monterey County, California, USA

This light gray sand/gravel is poorly sorted (0.5-4.5mm in diameter).  It consists of quartz, granite and small amounts of seashells.  The grains are moderately rounded.  It could be artificial sand.
