Kawajiri Beach, Kawajiri-cho, Hitachi-city, Ibaraki, Japan

This light gray sand is coarse and moderately sorted (less than 1.5mm in diameter).  It consists of quartz with smaller amount of feldspar, mica, seashells, brown siliceous rocks and so on.  The grains are moderately rounded.
