Nazaré, Portugal

This light brown sand/gravel was picked up at the small fishing village Nazaré, it takes two hours from Lisbon by bus.  This sand/gravel is poorly sorted and the grains are less than 7mm in diameter.  It consists of quartz with small amounts of light brown siliceous rocks or seashells.  The grains are well-rounded.
