Yamasedomari, Okushiri Island, Okushiri, Hokkaido

This pale brown beach sand is coarse (1.5mm or less in diameter), and moderately sorted.  The grains are mostly quartz, and smaller amounts of feldspar, pieces of granite, pale brown siliceous rocks and so on.  They are sub-rounded.
