In Healy, there is Usibelli Mine that delivers the best deal of coal in Alaska.  This sand was picked up near the mine.  It is pooly sorted sand/gravel (5.5mm or less in diameter).  It consists of quartz, gray siliceous rocks, and reddish brown siliceous rocks.  The grains are sub-rounded.
