Iznik Lake, Bursa, Turkey

Iznik Lake is east of the Marmara Sea that connects the Black Sea to the Aegean Sea.  This greenish gray sand/gravel is composed of porphyritic volcanic rock.  The grains are 1.0-6.5mm in diameter.  There is a lot of grains of alterative rocks like green-tuff.
