Nouakchott (No.2), Trarza, Mauritania

This fine/medium-sized sand was picked up at a beach straightly west from the capital Nouakchott.  The grains are moderately sorted (0.2-0.5mm in diameter).  It consists of quartz with smaller amounts of seashells.  The grains of seashells are ordinarily large.
