Kona Village Resort, Kona, Hawaii Island, Hawaii, USA

This sand was picked up at Kona Villiage Resorts which is on west of Hawaii Island.  It is white coral sand (3.0mm or less in diameter), and consists of coral, seashells, the remains of foraminifera with smaller amount of black basalt that is making Hawaii Islands.
