Ranong, Ranong, Thailand

This pale brown river sand is coarse sand (0.4-1.5mm in diameter) with smaller amounts of large grains (3mm or less in diameter).  The grains are mostly quartz or feldspar, and some black grains of heavy mineral.  They are sub-angular.
