Banc d'Arguin (No.2), Dakhlet Nouadhibou, Mauritania

This delicate brown sand is fine (0.6mm or less in diameter), and well sorted.  It consists of mostly quartz, and well-rounded.  Some of the grains have been stained reddish brown by iron oxide.  There are a few grains of red or yellow siliceous rocks, too.
