Ksar Ghielene, Tunisia

Since this desert sand is very fine, the scale is different from others.  Tunisia is located in the northernmost of the Sahara Desert, and Ksar Ghielene is located in the middle of this country.  the word "Ksar" means a tribal granary.  This reddish sand is well-sorted dune sand.  The grains are about 0.1mm in diameter and mostly quartz and well rounded.  They are typical desert dune sand.
