The Thousand Beach Chigasaki (2), Chigasaki-city, Kanagawa, Japan

This medium-sized sand (0.2-1.0mm in diameter) consists of chert, sandstone, shale and chips of volcanic rocks.  It is dark gray and poorly sorted.  It is mixed with some grains of fine gravel (3.0mm or less in diameter).
