Kamiwa Beach (No.2), Kashiwazaki, Niigata, Japan

This sand is from the same beach of sample No.1, but this is dark.  The black grains are not magnetite but pyroxene or olivine.  Generally saying, grains that have high relative densities are smaller than the others.
