based on the AIST vicarious and cross calibration of April 2000 - Dec. 2004

Conversion from the Standard OBC based-product (OBC_DN : L1B or L3A) to the vicarious-calibration based product (ViCal_DN).
    ViCal_DN = ( OBC_DN - 1 ) / C + 1

    Radiometric calibration of OBC_DN (L1B or L3A) should be version 3 or upper.

      Band.01 : C=1.05
      Band.02 : C=0.93
      Band.3N : C=0.95
      Band.04 : C=0.93
      Band.05 : C=0.92
      Band.06 : C=0.99
      Band.07 : C=1.06
      Band.08 : C=1.04
      Band.09 : C=1.00 ?

      Band.3B : C = f(t)*Band3N_C
        Band3N_C=0.95 (Calibration coefficient C(0) of Band.3N at the launch)
        f(t)=((1-0.877)*exp(-0.000163*t)+0.877)*0.982
        t is represents the number of days since launch, Dec. 19, 1999
* This conversion is for ASTER data of 2000 to 2004 based on WRC solar irradiance model. However it is possible to use this conversion for data after 2005. The conversions based on NewKur (New Kurucz) and Thuillier2002 solar irradiance models will be supported in near future.
