Links to Other sites of Interest to Volcanologists

There are dozens of volcano sites around, and most of them are linked to each other in some way. Here are a few:

  • The IAVCEI home page is another great way to find volcano pages.

  • The Michigan Tech page keeps up to date on active volcanoes, and has photo links, etc.

  • RV Fisher's Volcano Information Center page is a great place to learn about pyroclastic processes.

Several volcano observatories provide information on their areas:

Proceedings of the volcano listserv provide information on past volcano happenings. The Global Volcanism Program has information on volcanic eruptions worldwide.
