Unzen International Workshop will be held on January 27-28 in Shimabara City in Japan in order to discuss the results of Phase 1 of the Unzen Scientific Drilling Project(USDP) and scientific scopes of its Phase 2.
About 80 scientists including 20 from ouside Japan will particpate the workshop.
