Editting Activity
Editting a special
issue is sometimes harder than the writing an article, but brings joy of
achievement. The following is the list of my editting works.
When NEDO held the Workshop on Deep-Seated and Magma-Ambient Geothermal
Systems in Tsukuba, 1994, I was in charge of the following edition as a
chair of the Secretariat
●Extended Abstract of Workshop
on Deep-Seated and Magma-Ambient Geothermal Systems, 235p., Tsukuba, 1994.
To summarize
the results of Magma Probing Seminar in the Geological Survey of Japan on
1994, I was in charge of the following edition as one of editors.
●Hirofumi Muraoka, Akira Takada,
Yuichi Morishita, Shiro Tamanyu and Kei Kurita, eds., (1994) High Level
Magma Chambers and Associated Processes. The Memoirs of the Geological Society
of Japan, No.43, 177p (in Japanese with English abstracts).
When the Geological Survey of Japan held the ITIT International Symposium
"Geothermal Development in Asia" in Tokyo, 2001, I was in charge of the
following edition as a chair of the Organizing Committee

"Geothermal Development in Asia", 105p., Tokyo, 2001.
When the Final Open Seminar of the "Research Cooperation Project on
the Exploration of Small-scale Geothermal Resources in the Eastern Part
of Indonesia" was held in Bandung, 2002, I was in charge of the following
edition as a chair of the Editors
●Special Publication: Indonesia-Japan Geothermal Exploration
Project in Flores Island, 439p., Bandung, 2002 (left end of the photo
below).
When the final output of the "Research
Cooperation Project on the Exploration of Small-scale Geothermal Resources
in the Eastern Part of Indonesia" was published on 2002, I was in charge
of the following edition as a chair of the Editors for the issue
●GSJ Bulletin Special Issue: Indonesia-Japan Geothermal Exploration Project in
Flores Island, Bull. Geol.
Surv. Japan, 53, 2/3, 61-408., 2002 (second from the left of the photo
below).
When the dissemination volume on the Asia geothermal reserach was published
on 2002, I cooperated to Dr. Yasukawa for the following editon

research I, Chishitu (Geological) News, 577, 10-45., 2002 (in Japanese,
third from the left of the photo below).
●Special Issue: Asia geothermal research II, Chishitu
(Geological) News, 578, 6-35., 2002 (in Japanese, fourth from the left of

When the Program Review of
GREEN was held on 2002, I was in charge of the following edition as a member
of the Public Relation Committee in GREEN
●GREEN Report 2002, GREEN, 192p., 2002
(in Japanese).
